Here at the K-9 Academy, we customize a training program to fit you and your dog's specific needs. Some issues need to be addresed in your home depending on the problem
Great News- Instead of just boarding your pet while your out of town, why not have them trained while they are waiting for you to return. Wouldn't it be nice to come home to a well behaved dog.
Program 1 Group Lessons (Basic Obedience and Behavioral Training) Any Age Any Breed.
Dogs with agression issues, or serious behavioral issues need to go with one on one training or 2 week boot camp first.

Lesson 1 Heel and Sit Commands
Lesson 2 Stay and Come
Lesson 3 Down
Lesson 4 Finishing Touches on all commands .Question and answer period at the endof each lesson
Each class per week is an hour long
Yes it can be done in only four lessons providing you do your homework 30 minutes a day between lessons
Group Classes Schedule - ( please call for details and to get on the list) Please come 30 minutes early for the first session
Next available Beginners Classes ( 4 one time a week classes, for a one time fee of $60.00)
Thursday January 5th will be our first class for the month, and will be each Thursday for January.
Classes will always be starting the first week of each month the first 4 Thursday's in each month.
Time 7:00 pm each Thursday.
We would like to here from you if this is not a good day for you to train so that we can better serve our interested clints.
Please call in and sign up for the group classes. Please let me know if you have to cancel for any reason so that we can allow other customers to have an opportunity.

Leashes, collars and soft training treats (no flexi leads please) Please be there 30 minutes early for the first lesson to pay the fee and meet you and your dog.
Program 2 Individual One-on-One Lessons
Weekly one-hour sessions to train you and your dog. I average three to four on leash lessons to finish all obedience commands and behavioral issues. Off leash training is available also. In home lessons available and recommended for certain behavioral issues that must be addressed in the home. All obedience commands and behavioral issues are addressed.
Program 3 One Week Boot Camp
Your dog will learn all obedience commands and work on mild behavioral issues.Owner will be trained upon pick up with one follow up lesson included.

Program 4 Two- Week In House Training Course (In House Training)
I will work on all of your dog's obedience commands and behavioral issues during the two weeks. The owner is trained upon pick-up with two follow up lessons included to complete this course. Proof of vaccinations is required for this course.
I do not use food as the sole source for prompting the dogs to do the commands. You are trained to be the pack leader and your dog should do what you ask and follow the rules of the houselhold regardless.
The methods I use works with every personality type and breed of dog I have trained over the years. I have a 100% success rate.
Never hit your dog, as this creates distrust between you and your dog. People need to educate themselves on how dogs think to get the response they want. Pack Leadership is the key to a balanced relationship between dogs and humans. Dogs are not spiteful etc. They just need to be trained in a way they understand. They do want to please us.
